According to U.S. government’s official energy statistics, for week ending June 23rd the average price per gallon of reformulated gasoline was $4.30. The price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $4.07. The average price of a gallon of diesel hit $4.69.
It is well past time for the federal or state government to mandate mass transit, bike lanes, and other meaningful conservation measures.
